Al Shunnar Plastic Surgery was founded in Dubai in 2005 and Dr Buthainah Al Shunnar has been operating in the UAE since 2003.
Dr Buthainah Al Shunnar successfully completed her Plastic Surgery Training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, under leaders in the field in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, in what is considered to be one of the most rigorous Plastic Surgery training programs in the world, to become the first American Board-Certified Emirati Plastic Surgeon as well as the first female Emirati Plastic Surgeon. She has been double Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
Dr Kamal Sawan also successfully completed his Plastic Surgery Training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and he is double Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
