a) The Consultation
The first step of a Facial Sculpting procedure is having a detailed consultation and examination in the clinic with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. This is to determine a tailor-made plan for you.
b) The Surgery
The second step is to schedule the Facial Sculpting procedure with one of our highly qualified and experienced plastic surgeons who is an expert in Facial sculpting and other cosmetic procedures. The procedure requires anywhere from 30 minutes (injectables) to 2 hrs (surgical) depending on the technique and number of procedures to be performed either under local or general anaesthesia.
Prior to any facial sculpting procedure, each patient is screened to ensure that it is safe to proceed with the surgery. This includes a pre-anaesthetic consultation, blood testing, and to ensure the patient is a fit candidate for the procedure.
During the surgery, a good plastic surgeon will complete a range of procedures under one general anaesthetic as this is much safer than having a set of continuous procedures done, which might open the patient to complications. Even though the anatomical structures with the issues are located in different areas of the face, the surgeon will use equipment which will minimize the number of incisions made on the face.

c) The Recovery
There is usually some bruising, numbness and swelling after any Facial Sculpting procedure, and the patient usually recovers after about seven days if it was a surgical procedure, and 1-2 days for the injectables.

If the procedures were done by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is skilled in that area, it will be hard for another person to notice that you have undergone a cosmetic treatment. This is because your Plastic Surgeon will ensure that the results are as natural-looking as possible. Other people will only notice that you are looking great and compliment you on it but they will not be able to pinpoint the difference.
What should I do after undergoing facial sculpting?
After the procedure, you will be given aftercare instructions which you must follow to get the best possible results. You will be given a follow-up appointment with your Plastic Surgeon to see how you are feeling and for a touch-up treatment if necessary.
Most individuals resume work within a few days after the procedure (if it is injectables and a bit longer if liposuction was involved).
When can I resume regular exercises after facial sculpting?
It is recommended to wait at least 24 to 48 hours before resuming exercise after facial sculpting. However, if liposuction was involved, you have to first seek approval from your Plastic Surgeon as you must be fully healed before engaging in strenuous activities.
How long do the results of facial sculpting last?
The results of facial sculpting can take up to 2 weeks to be fully visible, which is when the bruising and swelling have settled. In cases where injectables were used, the results last for a few months, and maintenance treatments are needed. If liposuction or fat transfer were used, the results are usually long-lasting.
